About

Skin Care Cymru is an organisation that represents the interests of people in Wales who suffer from a skin condition.  We seek improvements in care for people affected by any skin condition and to educate and inform relevant professional bodies, the public and media about the needs of people affected by such conditions.

The aims of Skin Care Cymru are:

• To work towards the improvement of healthcare for people suffering from any kind of skin disease by making recommendations and looking for improvements in dermatological services to the Welsh Assembly Government, and directly to healthcare providers

• To educate and inform the public about skin disease and effective treatments through media campaigns and organised events

• To provide a strong and high profile voice for dermatology patients and to support other organisations and professional bodies to pursue these objectives.
